Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)


Hosting & Content

1. Are the quiz questions provided, or do I write my own?
The platform provides you with pre‑written quiz content. Your role as the Host is to manage the event, read the questions, and guide participants.


2. What do I need to host a quiz?
You need:

  • A stable internet connection (required for the platform and participant access).
  • A smartphone or tablet to run the host App.
  • Participant devices with the answering app.
  • Printed QR Code sheets or links for participants to easily join.

3. What happens if I experience load shedding or lose internet during a quiz?
Due to dependencies on local infrastructure, we cannot guarantee 100% uptime (see Section 4 of the Terms). If you lose connection, participant scores and quiz state should be retained when the connection is restored, but service may be interrupted. The Company is not liable for these external interruptions.


4. Do participants need accounts?
No. Participants do not need accounts. They simply join using the answering app via a link and quiz ID provided by the Host.


5. How often is new quiz content added?
At least two new quiz sets are added monthly. Formats and themes may vary to keep the experience fresh.


Account & Venues

6. What is considered a "Venue" for the purpose of plan limits?
A Venue is defined as a single, unique physical commercial location (e.g., a specific pub or restaurant). Your plan limits how many unique venues you can service simultaneously.


7. How often can I change my registered Venue?
You are allowed to change the registered Venue(s) for your plan once per month. This allows flexibility while ensuring compliance with your specific tier (Solo, Trio, or Fiver).


8. Can multiple people log into my host account simultaneously?
No. For security and to protect account integrity, only one login per host account is permitted at any time. Sharing or abusing login credentials may result in account termination.


9. Is there an age restriction for Hosts and Participants?
The account holder (Host) must be 18 years or older, as they are responsible for managing the account, payments, and compliance. Hosts may, at their discretion, allow younger individuals to present or assist with quizzes. Participants of all ages are welcome, as quiz content is family‑friendly.


Data & Privacy

10. What happens to my data if I delete my account?
Upon deletion, all your personal information (name, email, user ID) is immediately and permanently removed or anonymized. We retain non‑personal historical event data (such as quiz dates and venues) for statistics, but this data is fully de‑identified and cannot be linked back to you.


11. Where can I find the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use?
You can find the latest versions of these policies directly on the Website under Settings or Legal.


Account Changes & Cancellation

12. How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account at any time:

Once deleted, your data is permanently anonymized and cannot be restored.


13. What happens if I cancel my plan or subscription?
You will retain full access to your plan and hosted quizzes until the end of your current paid period. After the paid period ends, your account will revert to a non‑subscribed state, and premium hosting features will no longer be available.
